    Timer based on Global Variable

Is it possible to set an "Every" timer based on a Global Variable?

e.g. "Every (Global Variable A) seconds/100ths: Do event"

I was surprised not to see a "calculation" button in the timer's "Every" dialogue box.

I suppose I could create such a timer manually by incrementing a counter every X milliseconds, executing the event when the counter = Alterable Value, then resetting the counter.

Is there a more obvious way, as my suggested method would require a counter of some sort for each "every"?

Just thinking aloud - Maybe using MOD with the counter, I wouldn't need to reset it, and it could be used for multiple tests.

That's great thanks; exactly what I needed.

It leaves me with the question, though, why "Every" does not have a "calculation" option.

Does the "Restrict" condition offer additional benefits to the "Every" condition; obviously I didn't know it existed, so I haven't had a need to use it!
