    1. Correct
    2. Correct

$69 is very very cheap, actually.

Wait, so both being correct confuses me!

SO, you meant that adobe CAN NOT CONVERT IT, and THE MMF2 EXTENSION IS THE ONLY THING THAT CAN?
(The caps aren't yelling, I'm just emphasizing the main part)

And is it likely that my games can be stolen?

Yes that is right. Adobe has not made anything that will convert your MFA into an SWF. CLickteam, however, has done this.

Any game can be stolen, so don't worry about that.

    Hi,

MochiAds are very easy to use. I released a game about a week ago and it has earned $0.50 which I consider to be not too bad.

As far as I know there is nothing from Adobe that will convert a MMF2 game into a Flash game.

As far as I know only the SWF exporter will do so.

And in my opinion it is well worth the $70. My original plan was to use the SWF exporter to create Flash demos of games that I am working on. However I have also found the Mochi site to be well worth the time/money to create some Flash specific games as well.

So..... with like maybe 5 good quality games running mochiads on one site, what would I make in a month?

Define good quality. jasonorme made over $200 in a month I think, and yet I haven't gotten $2.

If you wanted to really rake in the cash, go for a sponsor.

Re: A few EASY questions. Please & Thank You

Well I'm quite new to this thread, but I'll answer your questions so you can get another opinion:

Flash is as easy to use as MMF2, you are just limited in objects, but that is not really a problem at all. Just don't plan to use scaling and angles in your game unless you want lag. Other than that, it's the same as MMF2.

What it does is it exports your code into an .swf file, opposed to an .exe file, so it can be uploaded to ANY game site that takes flash files, and that's basically all of them. So after you export your game, you can upload it pretty much anywhere, although some sites must approve your game, but you'll find it rather easy to submit a subpar game and get views.

Adding Mochi Ads is simple, you just register as a developer on their site, create a new game, then you're given a code for your game, which you will enter in your application's properties. After that, you must upload your game to mochi, so they can approve that ads are allowed. What they do is make sure that your game follows their terms, so no extreme gore, no pornographics content, etc. And no using copyrighted content, or it would be illegal for them to allow you to monetize that content that you do not own. (Just answering those questions before you complain about having to get a game approved before you profit)

I don't see why the preloaders would drive people away....It's really not that bad. Just use only one ad at the beginning though, and don't go overboard with end of frame ads. Just don't be obnoxious with it and you're fine. If you upload to mochi and use live updates (which I don't see why you wouldn't do this), you don't need to put a Start of App ad with MMF2 in it, mochi does it for you.
You can make fair amounts of money, it's all random.
For example, one of my games makes around 3 cents a day, and one of my games got featured on a Polish game site, so I get around 80 cents a day from it. You could get lucky, you might not. Just keep making games, learn what people like, etc. And don't spend too much time on one game, it might do bad, and you'll get frustrated for wasting time for little rewards

The Flash Exporter by Clickteam is the ONLY, I repeat, the ONLY way for you to export from MMF2 to flash. Adobe cannot do this.
$69 is a very low price for a very powerful tool, and you can easily make this money back from ads, if you test around. Don't expect 1 game to get it all back, try making a few games.

Good luck, I hope I helped!

    EDIT:
    Here are my stats....

    Savory Storm (6 Days Old) - $0.63
    GridBuster (5 Days Old) - $1.07
    ColorClear (4 Days Old) - $3.48

So there you have it, 6 days, 3 games, $5.18
And I've been slacking, not making games (these are relatively simple games, made in one day), plus games continue getting hits after they get the rush of new viewers to start, so they'll keep a steady flow.

All in all, ITS WORTH IT.

On one site? Why only one? Mochi can distribute to your games to hundreds of sites in a nanosecond.

But in the end, it's really a lot about luck how those games will perform, because it's all about visibility. Of course quality drives visibility, but there's no direct correlation. If some big site picks up one of them, for whatever reason, you can make even considerable sums, but if not, your ad revenue will likely stay on a quite non-existent level. My best day for one game is $170 and the worst is $0.00. The differentiating variable there is basically luck.
