    Crawling Issues

    I need a tip. My player got the ability to crawl under stuff. My movement is fastloop and works like when Im holding right, Im moving right and when Im holding left Im moving left. I also have while holding down and right I crawl to the right.. Holding down and left, I crawl to the left. When the player crawls, he can crawl under stuff you cant walk under. But if you release the crawl buttons, you stand up and get stuck in the obstacles above. Of course its just to press the crawl buttons again and move, but it just looks a little silly. Does anyone have any ideas? I though of something like adding in some release event that the closest obstacle above is X pixles away or something..

    Maybe he would automatically keep himself in crawl mode until there was space do do it. You could also have a funny bonk-head animation

    Yea, bonk-head animation would be funny, but I think its a little much work :P But I like the keep in crawl mode part. The thing is I dont know how to make such event, thats actually what I ment to ask for even tho I probably made that a little unclear :P

    Well it's only a matter of adding another detector, isn't it?

    Hmmm... Another detector, eh?... That gave me a brilliant idea. Im gonna check it out.

    Yea, thats actually working I have some trouble with my animation, but I can probably fix it tomorrow after some brainrest :] Thanks once again!
