Object within a qualifier overlapping another?

I have a condition

Player overlapping obstacle (qualifier)

however, there are 2 player objects, which are in the obstacle qualifier, so they won't overlap. putting the player objects into this qualifier causes the objects to always meet the condition, even though they aren't overlapping anything... except itself, I guess. any way to fix this?

Make sure they are completely different players within the qualifier.

I can delete one of the players and the problem still exists.

I thought for a second I wouldn't be able to reproduce it, but I did. The problem is slightly more complicated than I first thought, but it is still a problem. Try setting active to no qualifier, then the player qualifier. It shouldn't make a difference, but it does.

Perhaps it is related to Layers.. make sure both objects are on the same layer and see if the same problems occurs..?

they are on the same layer, besides, changing the qualifier shouldn't change the outcome, but it does.
