Mode 7 Tutorial/Help

I'm trying to figure out the Mode 7 extension so I can create a Top Gun remake, but I can't even figure out how to choose an image that can be the ground and which scrolls.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial or an example?

Have you seen the example that comes with the extension?

Totally forgot some extensions had tutorials. :P

But I looked through them and I found nothing that showed how they set the image to be used for the mode 7 effect.

The images are set inside the object. You have to double click it, I think.
