    Yes...

    To Save, just use Set Value/String.

    To Load, just use Get Value/String.

    It is best to use the action and the expression that take both an Item name and a Group name. Make sure to use the same Item and Group names.

    You can also post an .mfa file so we can see exactly what is going on.
