    Cant save with ini object

    Hey everyone,
im trying to do a simple save value to ini object, i havent used mmf2 in a few years, so im hoping its simply me being daft. Im using the demo version of mmf2 and windows 7.
    This is my expression:

Start of frame: Set current file to "accounts"
    Set current group to "dylan"
    Set item to "exists"

Upon pressing S: Set Value of ini "1"

Always: Set counter 1 to value of INI

I cannot get the value from the ini object no matter what i try, when i open it in the debugger i cannot even manually change the value.
Proberly something simple, im fairly rusty
All help is appreciated, thank you
    Dylan

Re: Cant save with ini object

This have always been a common issue to me aswell, but I think I managed to fix it in the end. First, I had an object that created a new folder. Of course I dont remember the name, but Im sure someone else does. This folder should be created in the same directory as you had your game. Then, save your ini file into this folder that you create (the folder will be created unless it already exist). So, create both the folder and the ini at the same time, which should be $appath/ thingie.. I had to export my game every time I wanted to check if the ini worked properly, cause it was not created in any temp. folder. I guess this is just the security on windows.
