Simple Text Extension Problem in Flash

Hi,
The following problem occurs in the Flash version while it's running well in MMF2:
When Simple Text is used in my game, I cannot click on buttons and so on anymore.
The mouse cursor changes into Input mode.
It looks a bit like the simple text is in focus and waiting for some input which cannot be done with it.
Is this a Bug?

Looks like a crash to me. Can the author of the extension have a look at that?

Is there still no workaround for this problem?
I need this to terminate my game.

It's in fact the static text object (I named it simple text).

What about just changing the text to a backdrop or active object in the mean time if you need to get something released.

Replace your StaticText.dat in Multimedia Fusion 2/Data/Runtime/Flash/ (in program files) with that one, then rebuild your SWF and see if it fixes the problem.

I tried the new version of the static text, the cursor now doesn't change anymore to the input sign.
But as soon as I click on an active to start the game, all other functions in the game don't work anymore.
I try to make a simple example file to show you if I find some time before my holiday.

I have isolated the problem now, as soon as I change the background colour of the static text object, the flash version don't work anymore.
I made a little example file.
Hope this can help to resolve the problem.

Thought about that but as I change the text in the game it's not possible. (and I use a lot of text objects)

I could use the string object of course but I need to make a lot of changes now in the game as I realized this problem to late.
In the future I will test more often the flash version while programming.
