    animation in MMF

well im trying to decide whether or not ot build this game in flash or MMF, and the main thing thats stopping me from developing in MMF, is the fact that the animation editor sucks in it. so i was wondering if there is a way to get better animations in MMF, or a way to import animations or something.

    please reply promptly

You can import animations into MMF2 by checking "Import As Animation" in the Import Options.

Also, if you don't have any good image editing software I suggest downloading GIMP. It's open source. Just create your graphics with that than import as Stephen said.

And to add what he said, if you save your individual animations with a sequential numerical order in the name like "Player Run 01", "Player Run 02", etc, you can import them all at once. Just check Import as Animation, choose the first one in the animation, and it automatically imports all the images as frames of animation. As long as they have the same names with a number on the end for the order, it will import all the frames. You should also be able to import a single animated GIF as well for the animations. I just don't like using GIF.
