Run Frame and Run Application not working

Just purchased and was doing the tutorial... both Run Frame and Run Application do "nothing." To be fair, it appears they try to do something as the application border deselects then quickly returns to normal. What am I missing?

Random thoughts :

- did you put an End Application, End Frame or Next frame action anywhere in the events? (Storyboard object) if so, check if the condition that triggers it is correct.

- does this happen even if you run an empty application? or only with the tutorial? If this happens with an empty application, was the demo version installed before you install the release version? If so, perhaps uninstall everything and reinstall it.

Thanks for the ideas. It is the tutorial that is not working, I have not tried anything else. I reinstalled to no avail. I even did a registry clean before reinstall.

Interestingly enough, when I launch GF2 McAfee tells me it automatically removed a trojan. This happened last night after the first install and this afternoon as well. I am kind of at wits end. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but I thought I would share.

Update Mcafee (or replace it with a decent product)

Its possible what ever its deleting is effecting your installation of TGF2.

It definitely sounds like it - I would hazard that it might even be sdtrt.exe that's being victimized by the virus checker, which needs to be present to compile and run any MMF2/TGF2 applications.

I haven't used mcafee, but most antivirus programs have ways to make an exception and ignore the problem files. If you don't know how to do it, perhaps try a google search.
