Edit Box with vertical scrolling bar

I can't get the vertical scrolling bar to show up on an edit box when I export to swf. Can anyone help me with this, or confirm this error?

Dang, well that doesn't hurt me so hard right now. I'm making a website in flash where I use a combo box to select a section of information about the site and when selected, the edit box is set to an alterable string. Theres not much information yet but as I add more and more to the site eventually they will have to scroll down! I'm sure this is an easy fix for clickteam though in the next update or so.

You can probably make your own and use the scroll to line feature. But only if you reeeeeaaaallly need it.

This is one of the differences between MMF and SWF. No scrollbar in the textfields.

We'll never have a scrollbar? Time for another widget!

I'm sure its possible http://flashexplained.com/basics/how-to-use-the-uiscrollbar-component-in-flash/ I guess with the way MMF works it just doesn't work out that way?

Or maybe we can get a scrollbar object and program an event to have the editbox correspond to it?

MMF doesn't use UiComponents. However I might have something for you in the near future...

Since there is a few extensions i have tested that i cannot preview at runtime i was thinking maybe there could be GUI object. Even if you have to export first i wouldn't mind that as it would be very useful still.
