    Setting focus to a button

Is there a way to set focus to a button that is set to checkbox through an action? By focus, I mean being able to use spacebar to toggle the checkbox without first clicking the button with the mouse.

Re: Setting focus to a button

Off the top of my head, i'm sure the key "Tab" focuses onto buttons per say.
Maybe using the "Key Object" to simulate Tab being pressed when you need it focused? That's probably the lamest way to do it. I'm sure there must be an Action for it already?

Key Object cannot simulate key presses. Control X can, however.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

I really wish that the button object had the set focus action that other objects have. I don't understand why this isn't the case.

Re: Setting focus to a button

So, there is no native feature in the button object then? Thanks for the alternative solution, though. It seems like the TAB key works until it puts the focus on a combobox, then I can't TAB off of the combobox. Any idea how to be able to tab between buttons and comboboxes?

There is also a problem if you have a form where one button is disabled for some reason, then you won't be able to tab past it.
