    Re: Surface Object

Which extension is this for? I assumed it was the surface object but the help button is grayed out and there is no help file for it.

It is the surface.mfx extension. It has a chm help file as you said, which shows a content list but no content.

    Re: Surface Object

I've redownloaded it and it still will not work. All of the other chm files that I've tried work fine. Wierd. Thanks for your efforts.

    Re: Surface Object

When you download files from the Internet (exe, chm, etc), Windows locks them. Open the properties of the CHM file and click the Unlock button, that should fix this issue.

Yes, or Zip .chm file into an archive, then, open the file inside the archive.

    Re: Surface Object

The surface chm file plays on my XP PC, my wife's Vista PC, but not my Win7 64 bit PC. I could not find an unlock but did find an unblock in the properties which I chose. It still did not work. But it does work when placed inside of a zip file. Bizarre. Thanks for the group help - we got there the hard way.
