what's wrong with this simple search ?

Hello ,
I'm using the search object to perform a simple search in a subdirectory of my "documents" directory in win seven. I put a text file in that subdirectory that contained the "searched" text. àThe counter is supposed to add +1 when a word is found, but nothing happens...is it a problem with the location of the files in win seven ? Thanks for taking a look ,

It works fine when I change Appdir$ to AppPath$. At least for me, anyway.

For me , only the index search works properly , but the simple search doesn't , even with AppPath$

LB, could you check if a simple search works for you ?
If so , would you have an .mfa as example please ?

I'm wondering if it's not a bug
