    Weird Flash Bug?

    So im making a small little minigame where your on a turret and fighting waves of zombies. One of the features is to have a mechanical arm reach out from the turret and grab powerups nearby. You can do this by pressing the spacebar and the arm will extend to where your mouse was. This works fine in the .exe version, but for some reason in the flash version it only works on the "top half" of the screen. If the arm goes below the bottom half it will just extend past the point where the marker is (that marks the mouses last coordinates). Here's the .swf file:

    I fixed it by changing line 74 so that if claw is overlapping the blue box and not the hook arm (which is being scaled all the time) it will retract. Quick fix, but I really not sure why it's ignoring collisions when you try to use the hook arm.

    It might be ignoring collisions due to scaling the object constantly, but i'm not sure why it's only doing it in the bottom of the screen.

    ah thank you. I meant to put if the claw was overlapping the blue box. It's still weird why it only happened on the top of the screen though @_@

    Does anyone know why you can see past the boundaries in the .swf? It's fine when I preview the .html file.
