SWF export is not in "BETA", and if it doesn't work on your computer then you don't have to be mean about it. It was only just released and extensions are still being made to fill in the holes.
Saving is still possible, however. I'll make an example in a bit.
Also, there are many limitations for flash which is why I do not use it. Not MMF2 flash, but flash itself. It also makes me sad that fewer and fewer extensions are being vitalized.

Outcome: lost the client today. :-(
SWF export working perfectly for me here, though.

this has nothing to do with clickteam, this has everything to do with you not researching the current limitations of the software and not asking questions before committing to using it for client-based work...

WMroczek, you posted the second post yesterday... you can't expect an answer in a short time for such a question, you have to wait for Flash specialists to see your post, do some researches and eventually answer you... and even maybe nobody here knows the answer.

imothep85, RhysD is perfectly right. You are a long-term user of this forum and Click products, you know that each module has its limitations and the limitations the SWF exporter have been mentioned a lot in the forum, including in the French forum that you visit more than this one. In the list of limitations mentioned in this post for example it's clearly mentioned that the SWF exporter can't save file, and the printer extension is clearly not in the list of supported extensions.
Web plugins like Vitalize or Flash can't save files because it would be a security hole (Flash 10 might allow users to save files with file selectors though, but I don't know much about that). You are a long term user, you should know that. PS: in your complaint you say that Java applets cannot save files, I think that's wrong, I think that signed Java applets can save files.

Agreed to that. Though in my case the amount of help I needed wasn't that big. And it was only in the field of game's implementation on client's site - not the SWF runtime functionality. The little tweak I needed would be beneficial for all MMF-SWF developers, but I can easily see that it's not really essential.Originally Posted by RhysD
The thing is that MMF2 SWF runtime covers 99.9% of my needs. And when you read into documentation and realize all the limitations before starting your project - you can't go wrong. I'm pretty happy with the games I've made for the client. It was only this 0,01% that I needed assistance with prevented me form delivering EXACTLY what the client ordered. This tweak in the way that MMF-SWFs handle flash cookies couldn't be hard to implement (or maybe it is? - I don't know, I didn't get any answers yet). And it is the clients lack of flexibility to look for alternate ways of integrating games into the site that I actually blame for losing the contract.
So - no hard feelings on my part.
And as to Imothep - you can't just imagine anything and demand that it SHOULD BE possible in MMF.
EDIT: Yves - no problem. I understand that. It's not like I'm making any demands. I'm happy with your software as it is. It was just a fluke that the tweak (which I'm sure will be addressed at some point) didn't came in time to solve my problem with the client. But hey - I came up with the flash cookie solution to my AMFPHP problem just a bit too late as well ;-)

StephenL made an extension for that that I am sure can be adaptedOriginally Posted by Yves

I didn't read all the text you put in the picture but one thing I do agree with is that parts of the official CT site you pasted definitely sound deliberately misleading, especially the part "800$ for swf application creation software" (Flash Develop, Flixel etc anyone? It's free, cheaper even than TGF2...).
