New mochi preloader buggy with MMF flash games

I've noticed a new mochi preloader that is making games appear like they're not loading. After the ad is shown and the 'loading' button is full, if you click 'Play Game' the screen changes to a white screen with no progress bar while the game continues to load, however there is nothing to tell the player that the game is loading.

It appears like the game has frozen, which will probably lead to a lot of players leaving rather than waiting to play your game.

    Examples

    Rhythm Calculix

    Extreme Noughts and Crosses

It doesn't happen here. I can see the mochi ads just fine along with the mochi progress-bar.

I have noticed the new Mochi preloader, and I can confirm that the 2 games you linked to do freeze. My games don't seem to suffer from this issue, so I wonder what's going wrong with yours. Did you check the Mochi forums?

It could have a lot to do with the filesize, my Noughts and Crosses game is 4MB which takes a lot longer to load than the mochi progress bar indicates.

The Rhythm Calculix game is even larger and takes longer to load. If your game is less than 1mb it's probably not noticable.

Just checked the Mochi forums, someone else posted the exact same problem, no solution as yet.

I'm going to switch to standard preloader + pregame ad until a fix is posted.

(Note: after switching I discovered the 'loading' progress bar doesn't determine the loading of your game, it's just there to provide a delay for you to view the advertisement. The entire game loads independently of that progress bar.)

Works fine here (I saw a mochi preloader so I assume you didn't change it yet)
