Some questions about MMF 2! D:

Hello everyone! I'm new on this Game Programming and creation thing, since i've got a big passion and love for 'em, i decided to make my own IWBTG 'ish game, but then again, for every new person, there are new problems, and i've got several of these when i'm trying to make my own >.<

This is an image of what i've got so far (Well, not actually, the game's level is kinda bigger than this)

    Looks decent, doesn't it? =P

But here are the things that are bugging me out:

    1) When the player jumps into a moving platform, sometimes it just ignores the order of staying on the platform and it falls into the spikes for no reason, Should'nt it just stay on the platform and don't fall? =S

(I just used the simple orders and configurations on the Event Editor, when Player colides with the background, it bounces-stops)

    2) Is there a form to put a Game Over Screen when the player dies? I've looked everywhere for an answer, but nothing! D=

    3) How can my player change the area (On the same frame) When it gets to the edge? Scrolling like in the Mario Games is not what i'm looking for, i'm looking to make it like IWBTG Or Zelda old games D=>

    Welcome to the forums, newbie.

Firstly your game looks awesome and I want to help you but I can't find the problem to the first problem without inspecting the code plus if you give me the code, I'll just add everything else in as well for you.

Hi Peter_Isaac and welcome to the forums. For the Zelda Scroll, I have some open source examples on my website that may help you. I like the looks of your game so far by the way.

DavidN has a fastloop platform tutorial under Tutorials on the side bar ----->. A most helpful tutorial.

For number 2, you just create a new frame, and do your game over screen. Then just add some events in the game level such as player lives equals zero, then jump to the game over frame.
