    Loading time

This summer I started on a project and basically spent the entire time working on the engine. I got a good bit complete, but there is still a lot to be done. With that said, I'm currently in school and so I've decided to put my project on hold until I get another big break to work on it. So in the mean time I've been just doing a lot of concept art and planning on what I want to work on when I do get the time to start on the project again. I want the game to be on flash, but it's also a pretty ambitious project. So rather than having the entire game load all at one, it makes sense that I'm going to need to make a level editor for the game. Last time I asked about making a level editor I was told not to worry about it until my engine was complete. Which makes sense, and I won't start on one until my engine is finished, but I would love to get some advice on some ideas of how I should go about making the editor. Just so I know all of my options ahead of time.

Hi Yami. One option would be to use the standard built-in Array Object. Write and read the values to save and load your levels.
The open source World Editor on my site is one such editor that may help with this method.

I could not open your example, because I don't have the Associative Array on my computer which is also not compatible with Flash...
