Big issue for some objects when scrolling

    Please see attachment for example.

I've found a bug with the Character Image object and Active System Box objects. It may apply to other objects too, but these are the two I am using and found to have this problem.

Run the example file, hold the down cursor key to move the active object. When the screen starts to scroll down, the Character Image and ASB's Y position is decreased constantly by the value in the "Y Top Frame", ie: the top of the frame in display.

Move the Active back up and the Y positions are no longer decremented. The CI and ASB objects will now be positioned vertically in the wrong place and likely off screen by now.

The example displays the Y Top Frame value and the Y position of the ASB.

Please can this be corrected ASAP

Happens in the SWF file only, in the MMF runtime the Y Position of the objects are not changed.

    Hi Andy,

I have been chasing this bug since many weeks, and could not find it. I will try again, but I really do not know what makes the objects scroll.

Re: Big issue for some objects when scrolling

Thanks, I hope you find it soon. I can't figure out a work around. I tried adding the Y Top Value to the Y pos of my objects, but they still move up. I added Y Top Value *2 and the objects only move up when the scrolling position changes, when you stay still after scrolling the object will then stay in place. So hope that information helps.

Finally I tried Getting the Y Position at the start of the frame and doing an Always event to reposition the Y position of the object but it still moves about in a strange manner. Hope that gives you some ideas to track the issue down.

See the attachment for example of this. The events are in the objects event behaviour.

I see it also happens on scrolling on the X-Axis.
