Movem. Controll. Rotate Towards in stopped state?

I want an active to follow another active, that is below the mouse. In 360 degrees. It`s a car. So far so good.

I have inserted a Clickteam Movement controller. And connected everything. Problem is, with speed zero the car doesn`t look in direction of the other active anymore. Even worse, the car snaps back to 0 degrees when it stops. That`s a bug for me. Rotate towards should not stop working with speed 0.

Is there a working way to rotate an object towards another object using the Clickteam Movement Controller object? A workaround maybe for this bug?

Found my workaround meanwhile. A fix would nevertheless be neat

Attached the solution. I use a third counter to store the last angle before speed dropped to zero. And set the car to that angle when it is stopped.

YAY, i checked your example, and i admit it's interesting!
So, where you want bounce ?

    To the frame border?

To everything in reach. Think of a road with houses besides. Now bounce at a house. Or at other cars that crosses your direction.

Means what i need is a method to bounce at actives and backdrops, using the current movement.

But i cannot get it to work. Force Bouncing does nothing. Maybe an overriding problem, i don`t know. I`ve been at the point where i have even switched movements. From CMC to Bouncing Ball. That way i was able to bounce. But the direction bug from the CMC bites me in my butt then.

    Every working idea is welcome

Hum, i have perhaps a way to do that, but it's really a bad way, but, certainly it's a way!

    So, test that

Found a way. Solution is to reverse directions. Plus a few other modifications. Now it bounces at least back in the opposite direction. Even when it`s not really realistic. But could be worse

Now let`s have a look if i can get this Forced Bounce method to work. I still fail at it.

Re: Movem. Controll. Rotate Towards in stopped state?

Found the solution, using Forced Bounce.

The misunderstanding at my end was that i thought the angle i need to type in is the angle that the bouncing object will bounce back. But it is the angle of the plane where the object bounces at. And it needed some further experiments to find out that i need to limit the forced bounce to only one action ...

Now i`m happy with the result

Nice example, glad you figured it out. Unfortunately, things will get complicated if you want to go beyond bouncing off only flat surfaces.

Just wondering, why upload all these RAR files? The forum would accept the MFA's size if you just posted it alone.
