    world boundary without obstacle type

The easiest way to ensure that the player character doesn't leave the screen is to make a quick backdrop and set it as an obstacle. Unfortunately, the game I am making can't use this method for various reasons.

the game is a top-down shooter, and the player isn't allowed to leave the screen, so how do I manually do this?

(Active) Leaves the Play area: Bounce

On your Active, right click, Position->Test Position of "Active", then click all 4 arrows exiting the play area.

Edit: you can also use "getting close to the window's edge" option, if you want it to occur regardless of the camera's position

I knew it was a simple thing, but I just couldn't figure it out. (new at this). Your example did the trick, thanks.
