yea unfortuntially the extension is stated as trojen risk for norton, just spent two hours clarifing the issue with Norton.

maybe it would help if this was put on there database.

    Re: looking for extension

that is correct. recently, like last month, many antiviruses updated and now return false positives on kcmouse.mfx, which is not a trojan. Each time you load MMF2, it will be deleted from your folder by your antivirus.

You should either simply remove your antivirus, which is the sane thing to do if you're a programmer, or find a way to exempt your MMF2 extensions folders from its scanning. I know most antiviruses will allow you to exempt files if you tinker with it.

I wouldn't just exempt the whole folder, you never know when you actually will get a virus.

    Re: looking for extension

Even more troublesome is anti-virus software deciding an application written in MMF is a virus, despite using only extensions which it proclaimed 'virus clean'

Which has quite unfortunately been the case in an accounting package i recently completed, but seem unable to distribute on heavily 'anti-virus infected'! business computers.
