    [ Flash ] Bug report #1

    Hello everybody,

    I'm currently working on a complex flash game, and I found a few flaws that I'd like to list. I tried it over and over but they're still there.

    Just a reminder, I really love all these extension so don't get me wrong.


    Flash-Mp3 extension:
    This extension works pretty good, but I can't (over the frames) control (start + stop) the music comprehensively. This makes the extension pretty useless for me, because I'm missing the controls.

    Active-Shapes:
    They sometimes work perfect, and sometimes, they don't. I had to take it out of my game. It was working on the standalone version, but not on the flash version of the game and its one and the same code.

    For Each-Object:
    This extension doesn't work at all in flash. The Shortcuts (For Each) between the instances (groups) rarely works. I had to replace them with own loops because of that.

    Flash-External-Files:
    I wanted to use the mochi profile images in my current game. This works, but NOT on the first attempt, when I want to load the profile images in flash. They're not displayed.

    Character-Image-Object:
    This extension works flawless on the standalone version, but recently the CIO disappeared or is not displayed. Its the exact same version of the game (same code) on flash as well as standalone, but the CIO is only visible in the standalone version.

    Flash-Menu:
    The flash-menu doesn't seem to work. As soon as I switch frames, I can't select other menu items. I even deleted all menu items and created new ones for each frame but it still doesn't work.

    Clickteam-Movement-Controller:
    I tested my levels really extensively, and every enemy was created perfectly. But after playing for some time, something strange happened. Usually when I hit enemies a blood-particle is created, that is always turning to the right side. But after sometime this action doesn't work anymore. The particles are not turning to the right side anymore, but are always facing the standard direction.

    Dont display swf files.

    Do you mean the Flash External Files object? If so it does work with SWF, for that object though i don't think it previews at runtime though so you need to build the SWF for it to work.

    That object does work with SWF though because i have tested it and it worked fine. In the notes for that object it says some MMF made SWF don't load however so if you are doing this then that could maybe be the reason.
