    Patch Maker?

just decided to get it, and im NOT exactly crystal clear on how to use it exactly. do you build your application, then build an updated version to your application and then this thing makes a patch from the newer one, and like appplies it to the older one or something? if theres a tutorial telling how to use it that would be appreciated, or if someone could just tell me here, thanks.

    Re: Patch Maker?

Yes you basically have 2 folders

    Your old creation
    Your new creation

The patch program goes thru and creates an update patch to turn your old creation into your new creation.

Its a great program but the way that MMF2 creates an EXE you won't find the extreme file saving size you would find using a traditional programming tool. Its just the way MMF makes the EXE -- the patch may be about the same size as your new EXE.

But that being said - it might be easier in some situations to update your game rather then send people a new installer.

Download the free version and try it out -- it comes with a wizard to help you and its really easy.

What is the file size limit for the .exe files being compared?

Good question but I don't know.
