    custom colour palettes?

    hey yo!
so my game does not work very well in 16 million colours.. the frame rate drops to around 30-40 fps.. which annoys me.. so i want to lower the colours, to maybe that 32768 option (or whatever it is). Now, my game has lots of grays and purples (gradients) so they lose a lot of detail in the lower colour mode. is there a way to customize the limited colour palette to include all the purlpe/gray colours while excluding colours i'm not using?

    thanks.

Yes, each frame has it's own pallet.

Highlight the frame you want to edit and check the properties window.

The Flash runtime works in 16m colors, always. Reducing the number of colors in your application wont make it faster.

And you only get a palette in 256-colour mode anyway, 15/16-bit-colour (32768/65536 colour) modes are RGB modes (if imprecise compared to 24-bit), so no palette.
