    pmo Y velocity bug

So I am making an elevator. It works fine but sometimes, during runtime, when a push the up arrow button to have the elevator start upwards the player object will go the opposite way of where it should i.e. downwards and through the platform and ground instead of upwards along with the elevator platform. This happens about 3 out of 10 times.

This also happens occasionally with my custom pmo ladders. I am using a square as dummy for collisions so it's not animation overlapping backdrops.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

The erratic nature of the problem could be... *anything*. If it was consistent then one could easily imagine a conflicting condition.

    You could post an example.

I ended up working around this. I think there was some kind of overlapping after all, so I had to tweek things and make sure that the character dummy always stays 1 pixel above the platform while the elevator is working. Thanks for your input arfa.
