    No Scrollbars in Datagrid-Object...

    Hi Everybody,

i' m trying to use the Datagrid-Object. But sadly when i add more rows than fit in the Editor-Window of the Datagrid i don' t get the Scrollbars that are shown in the Help-File. They also don' t exist when i run the frame. I also checked all the Options for the Object, but couldn' t find any option like "Enable Scrollbars"...
It also seems that the Editor-Window of the Datagrid-Object can not be resized to display more of the content.

I will try the List-View-Object although it seems more limited than the Datagrid-Object.

I found some Posts about this Topic, but was not able to find out if there' s already a solution to this Problem.

Thanks in Advance and Greets from Switzerland

It works for me when just by dropping it into the frame and running the application. Can you post an mfa? Also, are you double clicking on the object to edit it, or editing it through events?

    Re: No Scrollbars in Datagrid-Object...

Thanks StephenL for the fast Reply. There seems to be some strange Behavior on my Machine with MMF.

As i just tried to create another Data-Grid Object it seemed to be working. I have the Scrollbars now in the Object-Edit-Dialog and also in the Application. But now there' s another strange Behavior. I have added 8 Columns each about 200 - 300 Pixels wide. Now when i run the App it shows the Columns and also the scroll-bars. But my last 2 Columns are like "cut off". They can' t even be reached by sliding the Scrollbar to the farest right Position (Right End of Scrollbar).

Perhaps i have to make a fresh installment of Windows. As i wrote in another Post i could not resolve the Problem that i have with the Standard-Windows-Colour-Selector thats also used in MMF to select certain Colours (just accepts 2 digits when trying to enter a 3 digit R,G,B-Value). But other Apps work just fine. Could this be related to a Windows-Vista issue? I' ve heard from many people that Windows Vista is crap and Windows 7 is more reliable and stable. But with all the Service-Packs i think Windows Vista should be at least stable now.

Anyway, thanks for your informative answer. I will try some things out (including re-install of Windows).

    Greetings from Switzerland
