    Drag and Drop

Hi, I just found out about the new drag and drop movement. Is there a thread that explains how to use it that someone could direct me to?

My problem is that when I click try movement, it runs great, but when I click run frame, it doesn't work at all, it stays stopped.

That's odd. Have you got any events that would tell the object to 'stop'?

Nope, that was the first thing I checked. Could it be that the .mfa file was created before I updated MMF2 with the new movement?

Maybe. Try a new application -- that might fix that problem.

    Otherwise, re-install and re-update. >.<

    Re: Drag and Drop

I made a blank new aplication with a green diamond active object, applied the movement, and it worked fine! I suppose I will just have to transfer all of my art and events to another frame in another application. Thanks... but really, is there a thread that explains how to use drag and drop movement that you know of? If so, pleas post the link.

    Thanks!

Did you see the Movements documentation? Click the Help button in the movement properties and then select Movement documentation / Drag and Drop movement.

    Re: Drag and Drop

    New Question:

When I use the "Snap to invisible grid" option, it snaps to an irregular spot in relation to where the mouse is at. It works fine, but not at the right place. It is offset of the mouse left and up about 3/4 of the grid's cell size.

I havent checked but i think it uses the hotspot of the image when positioning to the grid. You can adjust the hotspot and it should look right.
