    Launch Image

If you have your game set as landscape -- It appears the launch image is still shown in portrait.

Side Note -- How do you name the game?
It seems to be taking the file name and I can't see how to name it something different.

    Another Note:
Is there some sort of color or size restriction on the launch artwork?

I had a screen with a lot of colors and my game wouldn't launch.
I reduced it to a more plain screen and not it launches fine.

    Odd.

I will just keep talking to myself

The problem happens when I select release build in xcode.

    Re: Launch Image

Take the launch image, port it into your fav image editor rotate 90 degrees or -90 degrees (Which ever works) and put back in, then it will be proper perspective when loading.

I think this is the best solution. I think it makes more sense for the image to have 'one direction' and for us to rotate it ourselves when we want it to be landscape.

Are you sure Kisguri - I will try that again but it didn't seem to work for me in an earlier beta.

Technically The runtime will still think it's in portrait mode. but the orientation of your image will be in landscape.
