    Locked Scrolling

Hi, I have a problem here, I used to do scrollings using parallex object, but flash can't work with it.

Now I want to have some clouds in the background scrooling with the player.

Any way to do this without needing to cread a huge piece of cloud that covers the entire screen? any examples?

    Thanks!

Try using layers...? But it'd be slow in flash. You should probably just use math instead, it would be faster for flash to handle.

You could try the Background System Box (use "Pattern" for the background image and turn everything else off, then you can move it around in the event editor)

    Re: Locked Scrolling

Thanks but, when using layers you still ned to have lots of objects, and I couldnt make much out of Background System Box...

In flash you must use as few objects as possible, I will try to create -> destroy the object one right after another.

Edit: I did it, created 2 similar objects, one goes after another, I destroy the first when he leaves the play area and recreate him in the "tail" of the second object.
    xD
