    Problems displaying Surface object gradient...

    Hey, folks!

I am having problems setting up a linear gradient using the Surface object. Here is what I'm doing:

1.) Start of Frame > Resize Canvas to screen size (using Windows Control object)

2.) When a button is clicked > Create linear fill gradient named "fill" using Color 1 and Color 2

During preview, all I get is a white space; that is to say, my other objects are visible, but instead of a gradient I just get white space.

I'm sure it's something simple I'm doing wrong. Does anyone have any advice?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Most appreciatively...

I do not know the Surface Object well but at first glance it looks like you are creating a gradient but never applying it. >_<
After creating the linear fill gradient there should be an action to set fill at a point.

I'll load up MMF2 and check.

EDIT: I believe you are creating the fill correctly, and you're naming it "fill." Right after that action, find in the menu, at the bottom, With Fill Data -> Clear, and it will ask you which name, so enter "fill." This will then show up as Clear With Fill Data "Fill" which is what you want, I believe.

Eliyahu is right, perhaps you should have a look at the examples
