Lacewing and SWF?

working on an internet swf app that uses lacewing for chat and communication with a non-swf mmf2 app that acts as the server.

When im testing it out.. I am getting varied results..

Before I go any further.. it is possible to use lacewing with flash to create such an application, right?

Thought i read it was possible but just wanted to make sure.

Is there an updated version of the rich text object for use with swf somewhere? It's telling me kcriched isnt compatable with flash... soo i dont really want to use a regular edit box for chat.. any suggestions? something that will allow me to do the usual chat box font features

Bob123 has entered the chat.
[color:#000099]Susan24:[/color] [color:#000000]Hey Bob![/color]
[color:#000099]Susan24:[/color] [color:#33CC00]Hey Bob!!![/color]

There is currently no support for Rich Edit Box in Flash. There have been an absurd amount of requests for one, so perhaps a developer might make it?

Lacewing is the best jump in SWF making, excluding of course MMF2's time saving efficency in coding. With every online game, there should be a chatbox. With every chatbox, there should be mutiple colours. (<<imo)
RTF is very badly needed.

I actually think the Char Image object is a more useful extension to use for multiplayer chat boxes. It gives you colours, custom fonts, like RTF, but also a transparent background, which I think is a big deal.
