    new to flash

hi i have been trying to re-work van helsing hallows shoot-out to flash.

At the moment i have just one frame no sound added yet.

From reading some other posts on this forum page i am trying to make the app smaller so in this regard i used the quick background object and set it to 640 x 480.

I am using this instead of the indivudal backdrop objects.

What i do not understand is the mfa file or mmf document 30.9mb and the HTML document 934.bytes

    could someone explane

The HTML file is just that, the HTML page that points to the SWF file, you will have a separate SWF file that will contain all your code.

Hope that makes sense, or i havent totally misunderstood your question

    Re: new to flash

The MMF document is the file that is then converted into SWF, so the smaller the MMF file the smaller the SWF should be.

What is it you want to see, because an open source SWF example is basically an open source MMF MFA file

    Re: new to flash

hmme ok as i said im new, i was realy suprized to find that my little app transfered so quickly by just removing all the sound.

ok needs a lot more work as i forgot that i was using unoptimised characters, and the need to take on the comments from the judges.

In regards to coding im using fastloops but i have read this is not the way to go with flash.

As i said im still new but getting their thanks to the help from the forum members.
