    HWA & Flash?

Alright, I'm sorry in advance. I'm sure this has either been answered or is common knowledge but anyway...
I was considering purchasing the flash exporter, however, I'm developing my game before hand, as in currently. However, I can't seem to find any information on whether or not you can export to flash with HWA and if you can, can you retain all of your hardware accelerated effects, such as blending effects?
    Thanks in advance.

HWA is not supported in Flash.

Ah okay, well thank you for the straight forward answer. This now raises a couple questions though. If you don't mind. Is it possible to expect future compatibility between the two? And if not, I guess I ought to just ditch the idea of shaders in my would-be flash game entirely?

Flash and HWA will not work together, although you can use some effects with Looki's Flash FX object.

Oh wow, that's brilliant stuff! Now, I won't be able to view, as in test, that without first purchasing swf exporter? I'm trying it out, but anything I apply to the object doesn't do anything. I suppose I need the flash runtime first, huh?
PS: Thanks for showing me that!

Yes, you will need to purchase the SWF Exporter to be able to use/preview it.

Ah ok. Well, thank you very much for answering all my questions. Sounds like all that there's left to do is scrounge up the money and buy the swf exporter.

    Re: HWA & Flash?

When I run a project in flash environment with the HWA version of MMF2. It runs pretty well.

I run the same thing with the standard MMF2 and it's choppy in a certain area.

Basically, when the player dies, it creates 50 active objects of something increasing in size. Also erasing everything else on the screen. Obviously, I'll have to optimize it before releasing anything. But, it was just something I noticed in flash with the MMF2 standard and HWA.

Does the HWA do anything for the flash runtime, or is it just coincidence? I was running Win7 with IE9b

A video of the effect is at the end of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FjmzDa7QiM

    Edit:
Also, was there a way to show FPS in a counter object within Flash? I can compare the frame rate between standard .exe (HWA and standard) and flash (HWA and standard)

The [color:#000099]FrameRate[/color] expression will give you the framerate of your application.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3
