Is it safe to change build type?

Sometimes when I'm making my iPhone games I like to compile it as an exe so that other people can test it on their computer, to do this I obviously have to change the build-type to Stand Alone Application.

I was just wondering if there are any negative side effects of changing the build type backwards and forwards (if I were to save it at some point after doing so).

In theory there is no negative side effect, the iPhone settings are preserved when you switch back to iPhone mode.

But this is a beta version for testing purpose and you are a beta tester, so you know what you have to test now.

Talking about settings, Yves, we still having all options available even for those that are not allowed for the IPhone. Will unallowed options be grayed out in the next beta?
