It's hard to pinpoint exactly how some apps break. I just ran a quick test and using Flash Player object opens a url just fine for me in Firefox.

I used FH in over a dozen minigames without any trouble. But I'm only using MMFs standard extensions and very few of the Bonus Packs.

Hmm..did you use "open URL in new window"? For me Firefox always blocks it, but Chrome and IE open normally. Tested on three systems.

Does it make a difference if you use build 249, 250 or 251? I'm using 249.

Also would there be anywhere some example on how to open an URL with the FlashHaxx extension (even though it's not currently officially supported)?

I am using 250 so no idea if that makes a difference. Open in a new window works fine with Firefox 3.6.13.

Updated to 251 but the problem persists. It's weird, as other flash games are opening new windows (tabs) easily but my FF blocks all MMF2 swf open url requests.
