Layer object problem

Hi, I have a problem here...

The layer object insists in not obeying me... my grenade is ALWAYS below the character arm, and I want it to always be in front of everything... I already tried:

Always/ Start of frame "Move grenade over Arm"

Always/ Start of frame "Move grenade to front"

Layer object always gives me headaches because its hard to do what I am asking, and then it randomly works later.

Any tips?

If you are in fact using layers, you will want to put the grenade in a higher-numbered layer than the arm's layer. Layer #1 is the bottom-most layer, and objects in higher layers are above objects in lower ones.

If you aren't using layers (i.e. both the grenade and arm are in the same layer), then the code you tried should work provided they are both active objects.

They are the same layer and the code doesnt works :/

I will try to move the grenade to another layer then.
