    Phantom Objects

I'm still relatively new to MMF, so I'm not quite sure about this problem's history, but I can find several topics talk about it, yet very little solutions.

Objects created in runtime with 'Create Object', that are still showing up in the frame editor, and can't be deleted.

Do they affect anything in any way? I don't think I've ever seen them appear during further runtimes, but do they eat up memory or somesuch? How do I prevent these or remove the phantoms? All my projects seem to have a lot of them now that I noticed the 'Show Created Items' option. Over hundred objects at worst.

Maybe check to see if they are on a locked layer? I always forget to check and that always seems to be where the phantoms actually are.

    Re: Phantom Objects

Nope, not a locked layer. To be sure, I hid and locked all other layers, and unlocked and show the one specific layer. There's a phantom of just about every active object in there. I can drag them around, view their preferences, etc, but I can't delete them.

I read somewhere in another old topic, that phantoms are sometimes caused when creating objects and making them originate from a specific object, but I almost never use that method. I paste stuff either at (0,0) or outside the frame, then set the intended coordinates. So why do I get so many phantoms, and what can I do about them at this point? :<
