    Not using Loops

    I am having very hard time with fast loops while doing my games in flash format.

    Actually, my PC Runs the game in 100% but older PCs are having some troube to run the game, it is falling down to 50% speed.

    I found out its most a fast loop issue, after I removed it I dont have any more troube. Problem is, I can't make anything work without fastloops, everything is getting buggy and random.

    Also the game is a side scroller, so I am using it on collisions.

    Any help? =]

    What help are you looking for? It`s a known issue that Fastloops are slow in Flash. You coult turn over to the ForEach Object, but this one is buggy, and may or may not work for you.

    What`s really left is not to use any loops in Flash. And that`s it, unfortunately.

    Well, I found out about move safely 2 object...

    but I can't make it work :/

    Just a tip if you don't know it already : if you use multiple fast loops in your game, you should put each loop in a group, activate the group only when you need it and deactivate it as soon as the loop is completed.

    For a platformer, try the Platform Movement Object, it helped a ton for the game I'm working on. Also, if you use bullets, use the Vector movement. Those 2 together sped up my game from 15 fps with fastloops to 50 fps without.
