    MMF doesn`t start anymore

Surprise surprise. I wanted to start MMF. But all i can see is the splash screen for a short moment, which shows cryptic signs instead the normal text. And that`s it. No exe in the taskmanager, and MMF doesn`t start neither. I have no clue what could cause this, i haven`t made any changings at my system. And all worked fine the last time i tried it.

Any ideas how i can bring back MMF to work? Is this maybe caused by the last patchday from Microsoft?

German Windows 7, 64 Bit. Up to date. MMF 2 Dev. HWA version fails too.

This problem may happen sometimes when you install MMF2 on a different drive and then install the build 249 of the SWF exporter, or when you install the download version of the build 249 of MMF2.

Solution, either install MMF2 to the default drive or install the build 251 of the SWF exporter.

If you has the download version of MMF2, let me know, I'll give you a link to the build 251.

    Thanks Yves

It was always at the default drive. C. And curious enough i still have the first Prerelease Version 251 of the SWF exporter installed. So that`s both cases out. Hm. I will install the current Prerelease version 251 of the SWF exporter, and have a look if that helps.

PS: it could be also your registry that has been corrupted for some reason, reinstalling mmf2 will fix it.

Haha, i cannot install the newest Prerelease Version 251 of the SWF exporter. It says invalid URL parameter

Okay, then let`s try an older version next ...

... i am cursed. Older version of the SWF exporter fails too. And the try to install an older normal version fails because it tells me that i haven`t installed MMF yet. Wow.

Got it. Finally reinstalling from CD helped. Then i was able to reinstall the newest build, and MMF starts proper again now.

    Thanks for your help Yves
