Jump Using Platform Object

This is a file which will be put up in the file upload section from one of the kids in my Computer Game Creation club. He's trying to make the "car" jump in a reasonable fashion and has not been able to. I havn't either, and am wondering what I have been missing. Any help appreciated.

The Platform Movement Object comes with a platformer example. Have you looked at it's code? It demonstrates the basics nicely.

I've tried every combination of commands from the example file, but I can't make the cart jump in a reasonable fashion. There must be something else that is wrong with this cart file. Maybe the way the obstacle is one large background object?

Hard to say without looking at the mfa. Have you tried some small background objects instead of the large one?

The mfa is in the upload section. But as soon as I get a chance, I'll try that. Busy grading at the moment.
