    Embed in Powerpoint? Possible?

I know this is a really bizarre question to be asking here, but I need to embed an application that I made with MMF2 in Powerpoint 2011. Is there any way to do this? I do have the SWF Exporter.

That's really more of a PowerPoint question: How to embed an EXE/SWF in a PowerPoint. So you might have more luck in a PowerPoint forum.

Unfortunatly there isn't a way to do this. You could however set it so that the window is always on top, with no menu or heading, so that it looks like it's embedded into the Powerpoint. You could probably use the window control extension to do this. Maybe also set up something where you can press a key combination and it shows up on screen, too, so you can have it up when you want.

    Re: Embed in Powerpoint? Possible?

    Hi,

sorry to bump in this. but the answer you want to hear is Yes!!!

and for normal rules in Microsoft product they take all the activex and shockwaveFlash Object is one of them.

the only thing that before in office 2003, this was a very easy task but now with 2007 you need to know is a little trick.

and the trick is as follow

first got to the round button PRESS and select "Powerpoint options"

in the "popular" label please select "show developer tab in the ribbon"

with this you wiil see in the ribbon a "developer" tab, press and find "controls" subtab, and press the icon with the "wrench and hammer", in this list find and select "shockwave flash object" and please use as regular activex fill the movie property with the swf file you want to show.

and this should be enough (don´t forget to see "under show slide")

    Hope its helps

PD: this method applies for all office products (BUT, always a but, never was able to make it work in word)
    Regards,

Well thanks for those methods, Game_Master and FVivolo, but I'm 90% sure it will need to be playable on macs. It's not a huge deal I guess. Thanks again for the responses!

You can also embed the Vitalize! Activex, I did that for one of my dad's presentations many years ago.
