Cant update MMF

i have a downloadaboe version of MMFD2 and im trying to upgrade to build 251 but it says that i need to insert the install disk, which i lost :/

so how can i upgrade my build without the disk? please n thanks.

So you do not have your download file of CD#1 anymore?

What you will need to do is contact us on the website with your serial number.

We will then arrange a new download for you

You should then keep it around as you will need it for updates (as you have found out)

i DO have the download file, so what do i just change the directory to that of the downloaded CD and that should work?

Extract it and point the updater to that and it will work fine.
That file is basically disc 1

ok it says it sucessfully updated but when i start MMF it says its still build R249

We will have to have Yves comment about it when he is around Thursday. I am pretty sure I have done it exactly like this on one of my computers and it worked fine.

I do that every time (my disc snapped, but I had backed it up onto a flash drive previously) and it works perfectly fine. Furthermore, MMF2 cannot say that you have build 249 if you have 251, because it is hard coded in. Did you install the correct one? (HWA/Standard)
