    Q: Multitask option?

    Is the multitask option working?

    The help says:
    "Multitask
iOS 4 is a multitasking environment. If, when you use an application, you press the HOME button on the device, the application is put into sleep mode and taken to the background. You can revive it by clicking on it in the application list. You might for a reason or another, not want your application to be multitask, in this case untick this property, and your application will be discarded when the user presses HOME.
Note : Apple really prefers multitask applications!"

On my iTouch when I press the Home button my game stays in memory with this option ticked or not (I can see it in the task list). When I tap my games icon to start it up it carries on from where it left off. Isn't it supposed to quit out when pressing the home button when not in multitask mode?

Yes I believe it should quit when you press the home button and restart it when you re-enter the application whether that be from your multitasking bar or the app's actual icon.

    Re: Q: Multitask option?

I have checked, and you can check yourself : if you create a project with the multitask option disabled, the "Application will not run in the background" tag is set to YES in the property list. This should make the application not multitask, saying Apple.
    I cant do anything more.
