    MMF2 FATAL FLAW

    Hello, everyone.
I recently tried MMF2 and was very pleased with its possibilities. However, one small thing completely ruined my experience with it.
It is the blinking frame in the event list editor. It's really distracting and I haven't found option to turn it off.
Thus I wholeheartedly ask MMF2 developers to include option in the next build to choose either blinking frame or non-blinking coloured frame.

I sincerely hope this is an April Fools joke.

    The blinking frame?
    Can you screenshot it?

    Re: MMF2 FATAL FLAW

Fatal: (adj.) causing or capable of causing death; mortal; deadly

This is no fatal flaw, it is a conflict in tastes. Don't have a cow.

What are you using, the demo?

Yes, right now I explore the demo. Is it fixed in full version?
I'm currently in search for appropriate program to make my game and MMF2 seemed like the best choice for me. The only thing that holding me from switching to it is that blinking frame. So you can tell it's "deadly" for my project.

I surely hope you're not going to make a product choice based on a blinking frame. It doesn't even come into play very often, as the Event Editor is used more often. And again, it's a blinking box. It's so insignificant.

No, there's no way to disable it, elsewise you would not be able to know where you're pasting code or where you are writing new code.

But it's the same in the Event Editor.

That's why I propose to make [color:#FF6600]coloured[/color] frame without any blinking. It will be very noticable without any distraction.

JRight, that blinking frame is a great way to tag a box so you know where you are. Really, it's not a distraction. I mean, if it was big and rapid and in your face I'd agree with you, but it's a great little feature for finding your way on a complex Event Editor with LOADS of stuff on it. I'm using Clickteam tools for two decades odd now and I don't even notice that blinking frame unless I'm specifically looking for it. If MMF meets all your needs and you're going to reject it just for a blinking frame, that's a bad start to your gaming project.
