iPad 2 Bug Reports

So I bought an iPad 2 Saturday.

I bought it for testing the runtime.

And I would like to give a list of bugs, but I haven't had any trouble with it. It works perfectly.

In fact the iphone game I was having performance troubles with runs perfectly on the ipad (I guess that should be expected though)

I'll continue testing on it and let you know if I find any problems.

If anyone wants me to test their code on the hardware you can PM me.

That's the best kind of bug report I've noticed, too, that games get a noticeable performance boost on the iPad, as you would expect (I'm not sure of the exact specifications of the iPad 2, but am assuming that they're slightly greater again).

Similarly, I've been doing a transit tracker with heavy use of looping and the Get object recently, and... I would have reported any bugs if I'd found any!

I've got an ipad one and the performance is a big step up from a 3G phone, was quite impressed with it. The iPad 2 is supposed * to be about 4 or 5 times faster.

The iPad 2 has a 1GHz dual-core Apple A5, according to their website:

I've been pretty impressed with it so far, and I'll see how it compares to the Blackberry Playbook that should be coming in the mail today.

I got my hands on the Blackberry Playbook, and it was a disappointment.

It's OS is riddled with bugs. Random crashes and the wifi cuts in and out every 2-3 minutes it seems.

It should support android apps soon though, so I'm just going to wait for that and give it another shot.

I think RIM is making a serious mistake by charging the same price as the iPad, I think they should drop the price about $200.
