app not ending when i test frame

if i am running a frame from within mmf2, and i tell it to go to next level at 14 seconds, it does not go to the next level.

if i run the entire application, then get to the frame i am trying to test, it DOES work.

unless i am going crazy, in a previous recent version of mmf if i was testing a frame it would not run on forever past the condition which ends the level. does this make sense?

it is annoying because i cannot tell if it is working correctly without testing the entire app, and i have many frames involving ending at a certain time.

Replace the "go to next level" action, with one that plays a sound effect, and see if that plays.

Is the 14 second thing the only condition? Are you sure it isn't relying on some global value that needed to be set in a previous frame?

I think this is a glitch with MMF2 or something. I have the same problem. Used to the application would close if I tested a specific frame and it tried to go to another frame but now it doesn't.

Still works for me, using the latest build.

This is not a bug. It is the way MMF works. If you are running the FRAME (F7 key) then MMF will not actually load up other frames or respond to "Goto Frame XX" actions. I think it won't end the application either, but you might have to check that.

You will need to run the APPLICATION (F8 key)to see those actions work,

I'm pretty sure he understands that.
The point is that if you run just the individual frame, the app *should* close when it attempts to change frames (and for me at least, it does).
If it just carries on regardless, then something *is* wrong.

MuddyMole is correct, MMF2 used to close when you run a frame and it tries to go to another frame. If I remember right mine does it sporadically but not consistently.

this does not end in F7 mode but does in F8 mode
