    Screen Capture Object

Can somebody create for me a quick Screen Capture Object application that captures the screen every 3 seconds and sends the image to a specified folder?

Or perhaps list the step by step process to do this?

I have been trying to get it to work, but it is not.

    Thanks.

It's pretty simple. This is what it should look like for the easiest setup:

    Re: Screen Capture Object

    Thank you StephenL.

I cannot seem to get it to store more than 9 images however. Once it gets to image9, it stops storing images.

Also, each image is the same picture.

Can somebody figure out how to get it to store up to 8000 bmp images over a period of about 12 hours?

The goal of this project is to create a quick webcam to monitor a website.

I wish I could send out my application through this post, but I guess I cannot anymore. Does anybody know what happened to this option?

    Thanks.

It should increment more than 9 images if you change the filename to Image0001.bmp or something. Also, switch the order of events to increment the filename before the capture. This should update the images.

    Re: Screen Capture Object

    Thank you StephenL.

I only have one more problem.

I am using the Vitalize Plug in program to connect to a specified URL. By connecting to the specified URL every minute, I can take screenshots of the website. My only problem now is that the Vitalize Plug in program does not close the window that it opens. It keeps opening up new windows. And when too many windows are opened up, my application stops functioning.

Is there any way to close an internet browser window?

    Thanks.

I figured it out. Never mind. I just had to adjust my default settings under Internet options to not open new tabs.
