Speeding game start-up when using 'change res mode

I'm using "change resolution mode" to enlarge everything in my game. But this makes it take much longer to start the game, at an average of 12 seconds. Is there a way to make the game start faster while still using change res mode?

Are you sure it doesn't happen with other games that go full screen and change the resolution? I just did change resolution mode in my game and it took about 1.2 seconds to start up.

If it's taking 12 seconds it's something on your end. Try testing with other games (not made with MMF2) that use fullscreen.
